Hi there! We are the Veevo Foundation, a
community of volunteers helping people around the world to know
thyselves. On this page you will learn more about us, about our mission and what are our plans
going forward.
Who are us?
This blog is part of a bigger project created and supported by the Veevo Foundation. Our objective is to foster moral principles to the humanity by helping people to know thyselves. We are a community of volunteers around the world with shared values around humility, generosity, fraternity, justice, love and charity.
What's Veevo?
Our name, Veevo, is a mix of the English and Portuguese languages. In the beautiful Portuguese, "veevo" is read "vivo" meaning "I live", which is align to know thyself, what we want to foster to the world. By reading our blog we hope people can learn, feel and live a happier life by achieving inner-peace and reducing sufferings.
Why know thyself?
The most efficacious method of ensuring one's own moral improvement in the present life, and resisting the attraction of evil is, as one of the sages of antiquity has told us: "Know thyself".
Our Mission
Our mission is to help people to know thyselves, the most efficacious method of ensuring one's own moral improvement in
the present life, and resisting the attraction of evil and the only true source of happiness.
Our Values
We believe in the power of collaborative work. With that, we decided to carry most of our development publicly in our GitHub page and everyone is invited to collaborate!
What will we be blogging about
What we're planning for this blog is to share our own updates, divulge activities from the community, spread peaceful messages, discuss critical challenges our humanity suffers while help alleviating some of that suffering.
Our Commitment to Humanity
Our commitment to humanity is this: We will donate ALL OF the net procedures generated by ads this website (deducted the operational expenses) to serious charities around the world, especially the most vulnerable ones. We commit to providing periodic reports to the community on donations made with the revenues generated by this site.
We also commit in publishing our revenues and our donations to the community as soon as start them!
